
WRIGHTSTOWN, PA - First Federal of Bucks County President and CEO, Bruce Iacobucci and Mark Worthington, Director of First Federal of Bucks County, recently presented the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) with a check for $12,000. This annual grant was presented to Roger Collins, Executive Director of the BCOC.
The BCOC is the only Bucks County organization that is focused primarily on helping low-income families and individuals achieve economic strength and life skills. Mark Worthington has played an instrumental role in the evolution of the BCOC. Since 1996 the BCOC has helped more than 150 families achieve economic independence. First Federal President and CEO, Bruce Iacobucci stated, "We value the support of the BCOC, and feel their role is an important one in the community, and as a community bank we wanted to show our support of their worthy cause."

BRISTOL, PA - First Federal of Bucks County recently presented two Bucks County Community College students with scholarships, which honor two illustrious and former First Federal presidents. The George W. Shaffer Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Marquessa Gesauldi, and the Harold F. Oswald Jr. Honorary Scholarship was awarded to Ahmed Omran. (Not pictured)
Ms. Gesauldi is a Bristol resident, who volunteers her time and talents in her community. She is enrolled in the Chef Apprenticeship Program, where she will attain her associate's degree in baking and pastry, and aspires to own her own chocolate shop. Mr. Omran is an international student from Egypt, who resides in Levittown. His time is devoted to working two jobs, and to his studies. He hopes to become an Engineer, like his father.
Each year First Federal of Bucks County selects two full-time students, enrolled at Bucks County Community College. This year, the recipients were presented to First Federal by Tobias Bruhn, Executive Director for the Bucks County Community College Foundation.
Bruce Iacobucci, president of First Federal, stated "These two students are well deserving scholarship recipients. First Federal is proud to assist in their academic achievements, and we wish them continued success in reaching their aspirations."

As a participating community member and business leader, First Federal of Bucks County is proud to once again support the graduating senior class of the surrounding Lower Bucks school districts through the continued funding of two $1250 scholarship opportunities.
The scholarships, which are administered through The Bucks County Community College Foundation, were set up to benefit high school graduates seeking continued education.
The Harold F. Oswald, Jr. Honorary Scholarship and the George W. Schaffer Memorial Scholarship were first established by the First Federal in 2004 and are intended for freshman students seeking to attend Bucks County Community College on a full time basis (minimum 12 credits).
The scholarships are open to all eligible Lower Bucks County students and are administered through the Bucks County Community College Foundation.
